Park and Hold:

On your phone, Hold is a local function. This means a call held on your phone cannot be picked up at another station. Park is a system-wide hold feature. Parking a call puts the caller on hold and allows the parked call to be retrieved by any internal extension.

To Park a call , press an available (Green) Park button on your phone while the call is live.

(Please note you cannot park a call that is already on hold. If the call is on hold, first resume the call and then park the call)

Once the call is parked, the Park button will turn Red indicating a call is parked. It is important to note the Park number used. (Park 1, Park 2, Park 3...)

To Retrieve a parked call, (from any phone) press the Red park button used in the previous step to retrieve the call.

You may also dial the extension of the parked call to retrieve it.  Park Extensions are between 701-799 where “701” is used for "Park 1" and “702” is “Park 2” etc…

(Park is sometimes used as an alternate means to transfer calls. Simply park the call and notify the user they have a call parked and provide the park button number)

Directed Call Pickup:

Directed call pickup allows you to answer a call ringing at another station.

To perform a directed call pickup, follow these steps

  • Dial “07” followed by the extension of the phone ringing. (Example: If 2150 is ringing, dial “072150" to pick up that call)

Remember to use # or the the "Call" function after dialing.

3-Way Conference:

SQUIBIT supports 3-way calling natively.  A 3-Way Conference is a total of 3 parties including your phone.  The other 2 parties can be internal or external numbers or a combination of the two.

To perform a 3-Way Conference, follow these steps:

  •  Call the first participant in the conference.
  • Press the Conference key, then dial the second participant
  • After the second participant picks up, press Conference again to connect everyone.
